Adding images

From your assets

To add an image to your page, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Parts collection panel (press Alt+P)
  2. Go to the Media section
  3. Drop the Image part on your page
  4. Select the Image part your just dropped
  5. In the ribbon, open the Image tools tab and click Select image to open your assets gallery and select a local image file

Images rendering options

By default, images will take 100% of page content width.

If you want to override this feature (for smaller images for example):

  1. Select the Styles and layout panel on the right of the window
  2. Check the Respect original size option to preserve image original dimensions
    The image will still be responsive as its max-width is still 100% of the content width

Images optional properties

You can activate the zoom plugin by checking the option Zoom image on user click in the Element properties panel. When your visitors click the image, it will become bigger in the center of the page to see it fully.

Online images

To add an image to your page, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Parts collection panel (press Alt+P)
  2. Go to the Media section
  3. Drop the Image part on your page
  4. Select the Image part your just dropped
  5. In the ribbon, open the Image tools tab and click Select image 
  6. In the Media gallery dialog, select the Online gallery tab
  7. Type some words to search an image on the Web and click the search button
  8. Select an image you want to use and click the Download and Insert button (the image will be downloaded into your local assets folder)
